NIAGARA FALLS AIR RESERVE STATION, N.Y. -- The 914th Airlift Wing Spotlight Performer for November 2015 is Staff Sgt. Christopher Sambuchino, Lodging noncommissioned officer in charge, 914th Force Support Squadron.

What does your position entail?
Preparation for field lodging (maintaining equipment, assigning people to tents. I'm primarily in lodging, but I fill in wherever I'm needed.

How long have you been in the Air Force?
6 ½ years, all at NFARS. I've been on TDYs to Alaska, Italy and England for training.

What do you enjoy about your job?
I enjoy the people I work with and knowing that we're responsible for a lot of the behind the scenes work. We're critical to the operation of the Air Force mission.

What do you do in the civilian world?
I'm the lead generator/salesman for Howard Industries, a company that manufactures signs. I'm also working on starting a business (Niagara Media) making websites.

What are some of your hobbies?
I enjoy puzzles and spending time with friends and family. I love spending time with my daughters, Jayden (6) and Kylie (5)

What are your long term goals?
I want to get commissioned and eventually retire from the Air Force. I also want to help my daughters succeed in life.
