Hiring Red, White and You--Niagara hosts career fair

NIAGARA FALLS AIR RESERVE STATION, N.Y. -- Members of the base attended a career fair held in hangar 850 on June 4-5, 2015.

The event which was open to Reservists and their families provided access to employers from all sectors of business providing quality experience and opportunities ranging from entry level to professional.

"We had 110 employers supporting our troops and their dependents," said Master Sgt. Savine Marshall, noncommissioned officer in charge, 914th Force Support Squadron Airman and Family Readiness. "We had more than 400 attendees, many of whom were offered positions or have scheduled interviews."

Representatives from local and national employers had displays set up from their respective companies and were available to take resumes for current openings and discuss qualifications and skills required for employment.

"Five companies asked for my resume," said Tech. Sgt. Edward Chandler, Wing SharePoint administrator, 914th Communications Squadron. "I'm looking forward to following up with them."
