Team Niagara prepares for inspection

QUONSET AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, R.I. - Team Niagara members traveled to Rhode Island June 27, 2012 to make final preparations for a joint Operational Readiness Inspection deployment scheduled for later this summer. Members of the 914th and 107th Airlift Wings met with their ORI counterparts of the 143rd Airlift Wing to discuss their 6 keys to a successful joint inspection: checklists, plans, airflow, advanced team composition and site survey, specialized team assignments, and training. To help gauge the readiness of personnel processing procedures being put into place for the upcoming ORI, visiting Team Niagara members went through an inprocessing line set up by their Rhode Island hosts. Everything is cleared out of the old Falcon Club on June 20, 2012 at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, New York. The former all ranks club is currently being renovated to provide space for several 914th Force Support Squadron, Sustainment Services Flight, sections. The Sustainment Services Flight is temporarily operating out of a pre-WWII building that is slated for demolition upon completion of renovations. H.S. art student wins local military affairs council award

Niagara Wheatfield High School art student Autumn Hayes displays her reward for her 'Keeping Freedom Alive' design. Hayes' submission won first place in a Niagara Military Affairs Council sponsored design contest. Her design will be featured on the next NIMAC bumper sticker to be seen around the area.
