Sept. 28, 2018 | 1:14
The Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station hosted EOD training for other Air Force units and local law enforcement agencies in which they worked on the skills in identifying and deactivating IED’s. Members of the 914th EOD Flight, Westover Air Reserve Base, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, Dover Air Force Base, Erie County Bomb Squad and New York State Police Bomb Squad all participated in the training. The training teaches EOD technicians how to x-ray the potential IED and based upon the image deactivate the threat by shooting out the wiring.
