NIAGARA FALLS AIR RESERVE STATION, N.Y. --

The Air Force Reserve Command has selected Arley Paulus for the outstanding ground safety civilian of the year award for fiscal year ’16. Mr. Paulus is recognized for setting the highest occupational safety standard for Niagara Airmen.

Through completing his Master’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Paulus was able to apply his high skillset to perfecting operations and standards. He also taught a professional development seminar to Department of Defense safety personnel, and additionally, worked with the western New York Field Federal Safety and Health Council to develop a parallel program for the central New York region.

Paulus’ contributions have resulted in increased accessibility and consistency within safety programs command-wide.
