NIAGARA FALLS AIR RESERVE STATION, N.Y. -- Niagara's 914th Air Refueling Wing conducted it's first 'in-base' periodic inspection on the KC-135 Stratotanker. This type of inspection is one of the most thorough and time-consuming conducted on an aircraft. It is done every 24 months, 1,800 flight hours or 1,000 landings.
