The egg hunt was held on base at the Falcons Club where candy filled plastic eggs where hidden for the children to find. Volunteers from the Red Cross of Niagara helped children decorate Easter cookies and bags that the children used to collect their found eggs. The egg hunt was divided into three age categories with three metallic eggs holding winning tickets for the grand prizes per category.
There was also a jelly bean guessing contest for the adults and for children with those guessing closest to the amount inside the jar winning the jar of jelly beans.
Among those in attendance during the egg hunt was the Easter Bunny, who was able to visit briefly before returning to his Easter duties. Refreshments where provided by the Red Cross of Niagara County and Friends of Family Support.
