Niagara celebrates Purple Up! Day

Reserve Citizen Airmen of the 914th Air Refueling Wing celebrate Purple Up! Day on Friday, April 12. Wing personnel wore purple clothing as a visible way to show support and thank military youth for their strength and sacrifices. Purple indicates that all branches of the military are supported: Air Force blue, Army green, Navy blue, Marine red, and Coast Guard blue all thought to combine together as a single color - purple. Purple Up! Day is held each year in April which is Month of the Military Child. (U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt. Kevin Nichols)
