Niagara Airmen prep equipment bound for Dominican Republic

Nearly 6,000 lbs. of donated softball equipment and school supplies from schools and businesses around Western New York is loaded onto a 914th Airlift Wing C-130 aircraft, February 17, 2017, at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, N.Y. The equipment and supplies are bound for the Dominican Republic, where they will be distributed to schools in need. The Air Force is able to transfer the donations through a program called Denton Cargo, which enables humanitarian supplies to be transferred on military aircraft if space available.
