NIAGARA FALLS AIR RESERVE STATION, N.Y. --
914th Maintenance Squadron personnel have begun reviewing KC-135R fuel system schematic charts and comparing them to the current 914th Airlift Wing inventory of C-130H2 Hercules aircraft stationed here. The wing is making preparations for the conversion to the Stratotanker airframe.
The last scheduled fuel system maintenance to be performed on a Niagara C-130 is currently underway as the first KC-135R is scheduled to arrive at the base in early February.
