Environmental Program

The 914th Air Refueling Wing is the host wing at Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station which provides support to tenant units and maintains partnerships with the co-located commercial airport, Niagara Falls International Airport (NFIA). Environmental is a major component that supports the mission and is incorporated into daily activities, base-wide. The NFARS Environmental office ensures all practices that can impact the environment are held to the highest standards which are outlined in our mission and vision below.

Environmental Mission: to enable the Air Force mission through proper environmental planning, sound stewardship, and strict compliance with environmental laws.

Environmental Vision: to be the world leader in sustaining and promoting sound environmental performance for our Airmen, their families, and communities to meet our mission in air, space, and cyberspace.
