Mission
To improve readiness and mission effectiveness by:
- Providing Trusted Oversight: Ensuring units comply with Air Force directives, policies, and regulations.
- Promoting Accountability: Identifying areas for improvement while highlighting successes.
- Supporting Airmen: Offering a confidential platform for resolving complaints and reporting issues.
Key Functions
Complaint Resolution
- Provides Airmen and civilians with a safe, confidential avenue to address grievances.
- Handles issues such as abuse of authority, reprisal, or other violations of policy.
Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA) Prevention
- Investigates and deters fraud, waste, and mismanagement.
- Encourages proactive reporting of suspected FWA issues to protect resources and mission effectiveness.
Inspections and Evaluations
- Conducts Unit Effectiveness Inspections (UEIs) and other evaluations to ensure compliance and readiness.
- Helps commanders understand their unit’s performance and areas for improvement.
Command Support
- Advises leadership on systemic issues and trends affecting morale, readiness, and mission success.
- Provides tools and resources to maintain compliance and support Airmen.
