A light sensor is used to conserve energy at the 914 AW
A ceiling sensor controls lighting in 914th Airlift Wing Headquarters, at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station. Sensors like this are all around the installation, turning on for people entering an area, and switching off when no movement is sensed, saving the U.S. Air Force money on electricity. October is Energy Action Month throughout the federal government and is about creating an Energy Aware Culture, where Airmen are getting personally involved and finding innovative ways to help the Air Force meet our energy goals.
