NIAGARA FALLS AIR RESERVE STATION, N.Y. -- Each year approximately 350 to 750 Department of Defense personnel are instructed by the 914th Fire and Emergency Services Flight in proper CPR and Automated External Defibrillator procedures.
Classes are offered on a monthly basis to any DoD federal or military member. Training is also provided during Guard and Reserve Unit Training Assembly weekends and according to John Schultz, 914th Fire and Emergency Services Flight Assistant Chief, the certification received is good for two years through the American Heart Association.
This and other training that is provided on a continuous basis to the members of the 914th Airlift Wing help to keep our personnel current, qualified and mission ready.
