Two members of the 914th Security Forces Squadron have received Individual security forces awards from the Air Force Reserve Command for 2016.
Senior Airman Samantha Negron received the Airman 1st Class Elizabeth Jacobson Award for expeditionary excellence, while Tech. Sgt. Aleksander Wojciechowicz received the Outstanding Security Forces Flight-Level NCO Award in recognition for his individual achievement and performance.
“These two individuals have such a positive impact on the organization,” said Maj. Nathan List, Commander of the 914th Security Forces Squadron. “They both continually do what the mission asks and go above and beyond with everything that they do.”
This is the first time in more than 10 years that an Airman from Niagara has won an individual Security Forces award. List hopes that this is just the beginning.
“It’s just wonderful to have two of our superstars recognized in this manner at reserve command and I know we’re going to continue that trend,” said List.
The 914th SFS is currently in the running for the Outstanding Unit, Base Operating Support category.
