The Air Force Reserve is looking to plus up its recruiting force. Are you up for the job?

What’s involved?

  • 1 week Evaluation Selection Course at the Recruiting schoolhouse, Lackland AFB, TX

  • 6 week recruiting school at the recruiting schoolhouse, Lackland AFB, TX

Recruiters are put on a three year AGR (Active Guard and Reserve) tour and upon completion of the training courses, assignments will be offered based on available locations.

As a recruiter, you will have the ability to make a positive impact on people’s lives.

“We change people’s lives,” says Senior Master Sgt. Jacob Miller, 914th Air Refueling Wing Recruiting Flight Chief. “The benefit for Reserve recruiters is that we see [Airmen] come back from Basic Training a changed person.”

Reserve Citizen Airmen interested in applying for this position should be self-motivated, have excellent time management skills and a strong ability to function well under pressure.

Other benefits include:

  • Ability to choose where you’re going to be assigned

  • $450/month special duty assignment pay

  • Additional $200/year clothing allowance

  • The ability to work autonomously
