Niagara LRS trains at Nellis

NIAGARA FALLS AIR RESERVE STATION, N.Y. --  Several members of the 914th Logistics Readiness Squadron completed more than a week of invaluable training at Nellis AFB, Nev. March 14-21.

These Niagara Airmen received an extensive amount of training in their respective AFSCs during this TDY and as vehicle operators they drove approximately 3,000 miles for training purposes.

Spending at least eight hours a day driving different vehicles was how one Niagara non-commissioned officer earned three different vehicle operator licenses during this time.

"It was nice just to do the training with no distractions," said Tech. Sgt. Joseph Foucha, a 914th LRS Vehicle Operator citing the rigorous training he and fellow operators went through.

During some down time, the Airmen had the rare opportunity to view an F-35 in one of the base hangars.
