Over 1,000 lbs of food donations was collected in early August by members of the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station during the annual Feds Feed Families food drive. Federal agencies from across the country voluntarily participate in this collection of non-perishable food items that are then donated to local charitable organizations. Feds feed families food drive

NIAGARA FALLS AIR RESERVE STATION, N.Y. -- For two weeks in early August the base here participated in the annual Feds Feed Families Food Drive.

Federal agencies from across the country voluntarily participate in this collection of non-perishable food items that are then donated to local charitable organizations. This effort is sponsored through the Office of Personal Management.

Over 1,000 pounds in food donations was collected from Niagara which was then given locally to the Community Missions of Niagara.

Thank you to all who participated. A special thanks to the 328th Airlift Squadron for their case lot donation. The items donated will feed many families.
