Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, NY. -- Members of the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station Fire Department engage in a joint exercise with Lewiston #2 Fire Department, Lewiston Fire Company No. 1, Upper Mountain Fire Company and the Niagara County Sheriff's Department, to train on multiple scenarios. One of these scenarios was a bus vs. snowplow extrication exercise where they used a variety of rescue tools ranging from power saws to the "jaws-of-life." The Niagara County Sheriff's Department supplied the rescuers with several notional victims; inmates on work release.

The Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station Fire Department has a history of working closely the local emergency response community through mutual aid agreements. Their specialized training and full time presence allows us to quickly respond and assist where needed.
