Nominate your boss!

NIAGARA FALLS AIR RESERVE STATION, N.Y. --  Dear Service Member,

Does your civilian employer send care packages when you're deployed, or check up on your family? Has it been easy for you to serve in the military and work at your current company due to the support you receive from your employer?

If so, then you should nominate them for the 2012 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award. The Freedom Award is DoD's highest award for civilian employers supporting Guard and Reserve members. The nomination form can be found at www.FreedomAward.mil  

15 recipients will be chosen for the Freedom Award and honored at a ceremony in 2012. Every nominated employer will receive a frame-able certificate from Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) to further promote their support for Guard and Reserve service. The deadline for nominations is 16 January 2012.
