Commander's children write about patriotism

NIAGARA FALLS NEW YORK --  Siblings, Austin and Aubrey McCoy, submitted grade level winning essays to the Fleet Reserve Association for the 2010-2011 Americanism-Patriotism National Essay Contest.

Austin is a 9th grade honor roll student at Grand Island Senior High School and Aubrey is a 7th grade high honor roll student at Veronica E. Connor Middle School on Grand Island. This year's theme was "What Patriotism Means to Me".

Both essay's are now off to regional level competition and hopefully national level competition. The local level prize is a $50 savings bond and the national level grand prize at is a $10,000 savings bond.

Parents,  914th Mission Support Group Commander Col. Timothy McCoy and his wife, Debi are very proud of their childrens' success.
