On Saturday, September 4th local military and community members gathered at ArtPark in Lewsiton, NY for an outstanding performance by Tops in Blue, the Air Force's premier entertainment event.
Col. Allan Swartmiller, installation commander from the Niagara Falls Air Reserve station kicked off the night by welcoming Tops in Blue once again to Niagara Falls and thanking the community for their continued support of our local military members.
Once the show was underway, the crowd was treated to 90-minutes of non-stop singing, dancing and music from the past and present. The show expanded beyond center stage to the audience where random members were pulled into the aisles to dance, or serenaded in their seats.
"Tops In Blue is one of the oldest and most widely traveled entertainment groups of its kind," the show's program reveals. "The 2010 tour, entitled 'We Believe,' is a salute to the ideals we believe in as Americans...Tops In Blue celebrates our belief in love, in family, in the hope we have for the future - our belief in the freedoms we enjoy in this great country and the power we have that comes from the unity of people."
The history of Tops in Blue visiting the Niagara Falls area has extended over the past 30 years and each year they are successful in bringing great family entertainment to the Western New York Community.
