The 914th Takes the Cake in the Hennessy Award Competition

Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station --  The 914th Services Squadron took first place for the Air Force Reserve Command in the annual John L. Hennessy Award Competition, 2010. Each year, across the United States Military, Dining Facilities participate in this competition in order to determine who has the best food service. The Hennessy Trophy competition was designed to improve performance in food service and to recognize those facilities that rose above their competitors, demonstrating outstanding service and performance. This month the 914th Dining Facility was formally recognized at the National Restaurant Association in Chicago. On top of taking home the John L. Hennessy trophy, the 914th was also recognized for the Most Outstanding Food Service Program in 2010 by the National Restaurant Association, Food Service Excellence in the Air Force Reserve Command Category by International Food Service Executives Association and Food Service Management Excellence for Air Force Reserve presented by Brigadier General Scott D. Chambers, Commander, United States Air Force Defense Supply Center, Philadelphia.
