Traffic Safety week

The Niagara Regional Traffic Safety Program started today at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station. Throughout the day students from area schools were taught the dangers of drinking and driving. Victim impact speaker Dennis Gleason spoke to the students of the ramifications of driving under the influence of alcohol. Mr. Gleason relayed his experience of being hit head on by a drunk driver and that of his sons little league coach who was killed just outside the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station by someone under the influence of alcohol.
Guest speakers and demonstrations are planned for the duration of The Niagara Regional Traffic Safety Program which runs from May 19 to May 27 at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station.
