Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station -- As part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month the film Searching for Angela Shelton was shown to members of the 914th and 107th Airlift wing members in the James B. Roberts Jr. Training Center. Searching for Angela Shelton is a film that documents the journey filmmaker Angela Shelton made as she traveled around the country interviewing women who shared her name Angela Shelton. This powerful film about violence against women reaches past racial and class differences offering unity and hope. In searching for other women named Angela Shelton the filmmaker finds a peace and ability to forgive within her and encourages the viewers to do the same. After the movie Brande Newsome, 914th AW SARC took questions and comments from the audience. Also providing more information and support was Brandi Sutherland from Crisis Services and Ashley Markel from YWCA of Niagara.
