Niagara and Erie county employers visit the Special Operations Memorial

NIAGARA FALLS AIR RESERVE STATION, N.Y. --  Niagara and Erie county employers visit the Special Operations Memorial located at MacDill AFB March 26 2010, Tampa Fla. During their visit the group was briefed by The United States Central Command, The United States Special Operations Command and toured a static KC-135. The tour, which was set up through Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), aimed to thank and educate civilian employers in Western New York who have shown support for their military employees. ESGR, a Department of Defense organization, has served as a liaison between service members and their employers since it was established in 1972. Fred R. Dentinger, chairman of ESGR of Western New York, said boss lifts, incentive flights for supportive civilian employers of traditional Guardsmen and Reservists, give the employers a glimpse of what their military employees do during their drill weekends.
