March Spotlight Performer

NIAGARA FALLS AIR RESERVE STATION, N.Y. --  Congratulations to Senior Airman Daniel J. Becker, 914th Communication Squadron, who has been chosen as the March Spotlight Performer of the Month.

What are your current duties?

Server Administrator, Cyber Systems Operations which entails maintaining servers and the network and working on trouble tickets for the base.

What hobbies do you have?

Kayaking, snowshoeing, reading.

What fueled your decision to join the Air Force?

I wanted to get married and wanted more financial stability.

How long have you been in the Air Force?

3 years.

Have you ever been deployed or have you ever had a temporary duty assignment?

Yes. I volunteered for a TDY to Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska from July to September 2014. It was definitely a worthwhile experience.

What are your goals for your career in the Air Force?

I would like to make Master and I do want to deploy at least once.

What's your favorite aspect of being part of the Air Force/Military?

The random friends that I would never have met under any other circumstance.

What's your favorite memory in uniform?

Receiving a Voluntary Service Award for helping out at a church on the civilian side.
