Where did all the snow go?

NIAGARA FALLS AIR RESERVE STATION, N.Y. -- So far this year, the base has seen an unusually large amount of snowfall. As a result, NFARS, like many places in the region have run into the issue of where to put excess snow. To combat this problem, Pegasus Support Services, the contracted snow removal team for the base, has begun relocating the overabundance of snow onto an access road and blowing it into an adjacent field.

Day-to-day mission success and base infrastructure have continued, unimpeded, because of the efforts and ingenuity of the team.
