914th Airlift Wing congratulates CCAF recipients

NIAGARA FALLS AIR RESERVE STATION, N.Y. --  Members of the 914th Airlift Wing earned their Community College of the Air Force degrees here, this month.

Per a memorandum for 22nd AF from Maj. General Stayce D. Harris, Commander of United States Air Force Reserve dated 01 October 2014, personnel are required to possess a CCAF degree in order to promote to, or be placed in, a ranking position of E-8 or E-9. 

The mission of the CCAF is to offer and award job-related associate in applied science degrees and other academic credentials that enhance mission readiness, contribute to recruiting, assist in retention, and support the career transitions of Air Force enlisted members. CCAF degrees are awarded bi-annually in April and October.
