NIAGARA FALLS AIR RESERVE STATION, N.Y. -- Erie County Legislator Edward A. Rath III, met with members of the 914th and 107th Airlift Wings here February 7 while delivering hundreds of Valentine's Day cards made by local school children for base personnel.

In the weeks leading up to Valentine's Day, Legislator Rath visited local schools participating in this national program to personally collect the cards and thank the students.

When meeting with the students, Legislator Rath encouraged them to honor veterans year round and to always thank a veteran or member of the military when they have a chance.
