Deployed Niagara Airman participates in Martin Luther King event

JOINT TASK FORCE-GUANTANAMO BAY, Cuba -- Guantanamo Bay's Black Heritage Organization sponsored a Martin Luther King, Jr. memorial march to remember the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. here Jan. 20, 2014.

This march was meant as a way for the GTMO community to reflect on the work and contributions Dr. King made for the African American community.

Master Sgt. Murray Taylor, Equal Opportunity Manager for JTF-GTMO, and deployed from Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, N.Y. spoke during this event about the life and work of Dr. King.

A closing ceremony was held at the Naval Base Chapel.
