February Spotlight Performer

NIAGARA FALLS AIR RESERVE STATION, N.Y --  Senior Airman Kyle Metz of the 30th Aerial Port Squadron is the 914th Airlift Wing's Spotlight Performer for February 2016.

What is your duty title?
I work in Air Transportation. We manage passenger services, ramp, cargo and special handling

How long have you been in the Air Force Reserve?
I've been in for 3 years.

What made you want to join?
I wanted the experience and the opportunity to travel. I'm looking forward to going to Japan for my Annual Training in April.

What do you enjoy most about your job/the Air Force?
I enjoy the squadron that I'm in and the people I work with. I like hands-on tasks, and that's what my job entails.

What are your long term goals in the Air Force?
I would like to deploy, make rank, get 20 years in and eventually retire.

What do you do on the outside?
I work in HVAC- heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration. I've been an apprentice at Turnbull Heating and Air Conditioning for 4 months.

What are your hobbies?
I enjoy fishing, hunting and shooting
