NIAGARA FALLS AIR RESERVE STATION, NY- 914th AW Commander Col. James Roberts (center) speaks to a crowd during the C-119 dedication ceremony held here recently while 440th AW Commander Col. Merle Hart (right) and Senior Master Sergeant Flores of the 440th AW (left) look on. The C-119 was acquired from the 440th AW stationed at General Mitchell Air Reserve Station, Wisconsin. Due to the Base Realignment & Closure Commissions decision to close Gen. Mitchell ARS all assets are being distributed and utilized throughout the Air Force. The C-119 was dismantled at Gen Mitchell ARS, transported by tractor trailer to Niagara Falls ARS where it was reassembled and dedicated as a reminder to the 914th AW historical linage.
