Local Soldier/Citizen Airman recognized
In honor of Women's History Month Capt. Nikki Slaughter-Smith, 328th Combat and Operational Stress Control, Army Reserve, was recognized along with several other prominent women during a special ceremony at the Buffalo N.Y. Veterans Court March 28, 2017. She was recognized for her outstanding leadership and dedicated service to our country and our courts as a part-time Soldier, full-time Citizen Airman social worker with the 914th Airlift Wing, Air Force Reserve, and volunteer Veterans Court Mentor.
