base tours

visit us

Ever wondered what goes on in a military installation? Although we're a secure facility, we're dedicated to showing our community just what goes on here at Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station. To plan your next group visit with us, please read this page carefully.

Our tour season begins every year on April 1 and ends September 30 each season.

Tour dates are subject to immediate cancellation at any time due to potential mission requirements.

request process

Step 1
No later than four weeks prior to requested tour date, fill out and submit the tour request form on this page.

Step 2
Call the 914th Air Refueling Wing public affairs office at (716) 236-2136 to confirm tour request receipt and approval. If approved, a public affairs representative will email you additional instructions including an entry access request form. Foreign nationals will require additional review before possibly gaining access to the installation.

Step 3
No later than two weeks prior to requested tour date, fill out the entry access request form and return it to the public affairs office. If public affairs doesn't receive this form prior to two weeks before your tour date, we will not be able to complete security requirements and will not be able to grant you access to the base for the tour. Groups with foreign nationals will need to submit an entry authorization request
no later than 30 days prior to their desired tour date.

Step 4
Once sent, call (716) 236-2136 to confirm receipt of your Entry Access Request Form. We are not responsible for forms that do not get to us, so it it is critical that you call us to confirm that we've have received the form no later than two weeks prior to your tour date.

NOTE: All of our tour guests who are 18 and older must pass a background check to ensure they are able to enter a federal military installation. Any individual age 16 or older requesting access to the installation must bring a valid form of picture identification (federal, state, official student, or passport). If the individual is unable to produce an official photo or identification card they will be denied access to the installation.
