Uniforms for CAP

Senior Airmen Christopher George of the 914 Airlift Wing Raising 6 Organization presents 1st Lt. Tina Warnock of the Civil Air Patrol,TAC Composite Squadron with surplus military uniforms donated by unit members.The CAP was on base for the Western New York Group Leadership Development school that brings over100 CAP Cadets from units all over New York State to Niagara for a full weekend of leadership classes and exercises. 1st Lt. Warnock stated that cadets as young as 12 years old join the Civil Air Patrol, which is an auxiliary of the Air Force and are required to buy their own uniforms. Any donation of uniform items is appreciated as some do not have the resources to purchase their own uniforms. ( U.S Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Everett Myrick)
