Niagara Falls led the Air Force Reserve Command in recruiting for the first quarter of fiscal year '18.

As of January, the wing sits at 45% of their goal for the current year. This achievement is significant, considering Niagara’s competitors, many of which are considerably larger units. The 914th Air Refueling Wing Recruiting Flight is one of the smaller units, previously having only two recruiters in production. Most recently however, two new recruiters, Staff Sgt. Bryce Billingsley (Erie, Pa.) and Tech. Sgt. Bryan Csik  (Rochester, N.Y.), have been added to the flight, an addition that is expected to further excel productivity.

"I anticipate a minimum of 22 additional Airmen being added to our wing between now and the rest of FY18 as a direct result of their recruiting efforts," said 914 ARW Recruiting Flight Chief, Senior Master Sgt. Jacob Miller.

Senior Master Sgt. Miller attributes Niagara’s current success to the hard work and dedication put forth by the recruiters here, as well as Get 1 Now, an incentive based program which encourages Reserve personnel to refer qualified people to serve.

In addition to the wing’s recruiting flight success as a whole, Tech. Sgt. Alex Pacheco, a 914th ARW recruiter, is currently in second place for all line recruiters in the command, and has been recognized as top non-prior service recruiter.

Niagara’s lead in the command is the first in ten years, and surely marks a great achievement for the 914th ARW’s Recruiting Flight.
