NIAGARA FALLS AIR RESERVE STATION, N.Y. -- I said it when I got here: you all are amazing. I was right.
The best and worst parts of this job are picking award winners. Best part because I get to pat somebody on the back; worst, because I have to choose. This year, with Command Chief Peters’ help and the efforts of seasoned board volunteers, many hands made light work of the selection process. Teams sat down and discussed these packages at length. On the whole, they were great packages, highlighting the level of skill and dedication that is everywhere in the 914th. Objectively, the wing had a great year. Given the environment, we crushed it.
