Members at Niagara will soon enjoy their favorite movie with some delicious gourmet popcorn thanks to the Boy Scouts. A movie and a loved one or friend is optional.

The Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Scouting supporters of the Greater Niagara Frontier Council in Western New York donated over 1,000 packages of gourmet popcorn to local military families.  Gourmet caramel corn, kettle corn, chocolate and butter popcorns were delivered to the Connecticut Street Armory, in Buffalo and the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station thanks to local popcorn customers.

This year, Trails End Popcorn agreed to allow Greater Niagara Frontier Council to recognize local military to thank them for their service with a delicious popcorn treat. After 5 years in existence, the popcorn for military program continues to grow and benefit both military families and local Scouting.  Customers are able to support the military by making donations that support the military popcorn campaign.  Trails End Popcorn in turn delivers popcorn to military bases across the United States and abroad to provide service members a delicious treat from home.

Each fall the Boy Scouts of America conduct a popcorn campaign in which local Scouts sell door to door in their neighborhoods and at local store front locations to help earn their way through Scouting.  Over $30,000 was collected by the local Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts in the 2014 military popcorn campaign from local customers.
