Members from the 30th Aerial Port Squadron were greeted by their family members here, Dec. 6, 2014. 35 unit personnel were deployed to Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan.

"A lot of people helped set this up," said Master Sgt. Michael Peppers, unit deployment monitor, 30 APS. "We were able to use the hangar and have Airman and Family Readiness here. It was also cool to organize the C-130 fly-over (with the returnees)."

Personnel were greeted by family members in a small gathering that was set up in building 850. Representatives from A&FR were on hand to provide refreshments and information to spouses and family members of programs that the deployed members could participate in.

"Although we still have members of the team deployed, everyone that returned home did so safely," said Peppers. "We couldn't be prouder of their accomplishments downrange."
