BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station Honor Guard Airmen joined with other servicemembers of the Joint Color Guard at the 54th Annual Western New York Armed Forces Week opening day ceremony, in Buffalo N.Y., May 4, 2014.

Col. Steven B. Parker and Chief Master Sgt. Clinton J. Ronan, commander and command chief of the 914th Airlift Wing, attended the ceremony along with many other military officials.

The ceremony was held at the Buffalo and Erie County Naval and Military Park and marks the start of a week of recognition, saluting veterans past and present.
