Inspection
Lt. Chris Baer, Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station Fire Department, driver operator performs flow testing on a self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) pack using the Posi-Track Three tester at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station on January 29, 2015. The SCBA is used by firefighters to help protect them from all inhalation hazards, i.e. smoke, hazmat, asbestos. The testing unit senses everything that is mechanical, electrical and electronic with the pack ensuring that everything is up to Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) standards including the correct amount of air pressure, the correct decibel that the alarm on the pack gives out.
