Commander speaks about Hurricane Hunters
914th Airlift Wing Commander, Col. Brian S. Bowman, is interviewed by Senior Airman Joshua Williams, 914th Airlift Wing Public Affairs Broadcaster, on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 in front of a WC-130J from Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi. The aircraft, part of the 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron’s Hurricane Hunters unit, was one of four planes utilizing Niagara’s air field due to its location to Hurricane Hermine. The plane was able to receive necessary maintenance and fuel and crew members were able to receive lodging and rest allowing them to focus on their mission of monitoring and measuring Hurricane Hermine.
