C-17 prepares to close ramp after loading firetruck

A C-17 Globemaster III assigned to Travis Air Force Base, Calif. prepares to close its cargo door after landing at Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, N.Y., on Dec. 9, 2022, to load a firetruck and other fire emergency equipment to be delivered to the Dominican Republic in support of the U.S. Transportation Command's Denton Humanitarian Assistance Program. Air transportation specialists from the 30th Aerial Port Squadron and loadmasters from the 301st Airlift Squadron worked together to load the equipment in under 30 minutes.
