International bridge lit purple to honor Month of the Military Child
The International Peace Bridge connecting the United States and Canada, between Buffalo, New York and Fort Erie, Ontario, was illuminated in purple light on April 15, 2024 to highlight Month of the Military Child. Purple references the joint environment of the military, encompassing all service branches, Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard, and Veterans. Purple combines each branch's colors into one.
